Carina Edlinger

When life changes drastically, sport gives hope. Carina had to experience this for herself. Beforehand, as an Austrian aspiring athlete, she competed in national and international competitions at top level until her life changed completely.

If the young Austrian had ever been told before that as a blind athlete you can achieve top performances and live on your dreams in a slightly different way, she probably wouldn't have believed it. For Carina it is a huge enrichment and broadening of her horizon to go on this path despite her disability.
