„This is gonna be fun!”
Alexandra “Alex” Tilley is a Scottish ski racer, specializing in giant slalom and slalom. She started skiing when she was 8 years old and participated in her first FIS races at the age of 15. It wasn’t until 2012 before she caused a stir in the scene, when she won her first FIS race in Bormio, and all 5 disciplines at the British Championships, where she even left some of her male colleagues behind.
In 2013, Alex gave her debut at the alpine World Cup in Maribor. Her great successes however stayed more regional, as she won 3 races at the North America Cup in 2014, before she finally collected her first World Cup points in 2015 in Lienz. Her best World Cup result up until now has been the 13th place at the giant slalom in Sölden in 2021.
