“If I had my way, I’d just ski all the time. But I have to go to school too. When school’s out, at the weekends or during the school holidays, I pack up my Kästle skis and head into the mountains. I love all of Kästle’s skis, but the FX106 HP is my absolute favourite. It’s an outstanding ski.”

Kamilla Bratteteig is still somewhat of a blank canvas. But the young freeskier from Røldal in Norway has buckets of potential. Kamilla proved as much during the 2018 Freeride Junior Tour, placing first in Røldal and sixth at the Freeride Junior World Championships in Kappl, Austria. More top rankings are sure to follow.

For the time being, however, her education is a top priority. Kamilla would like to be a paramedic and simultaneously start accumulating points in the Freeride Qualifier Series over the next few years, with a view to taking on the big names of the Freeride World Tour and having a crack at the World Champion title.
