Felix discovered ski touring 2 years ago. Before that, from 2019 to 2021, he was a competitive athlete at national competitions in athletics and mountain running. In the process, he was able to achieve numerous top five results - at German championships in the junior field - as well as a German runner-up title and a victory at the German Junior Runners' Cup.
In 2020 Felix competed in his first ski touring races, in the same season he was invited to the junior team of Skimoteam-Germany. In 2021 he gained his first World Cup experience.
2022 was his first year in professional ski mountaineering, and he even competed in races in France and Italy. He achieved one top fifteen and one top ten result and became German champion in the junior ranking. Felix also continues to compete in mountain runs. This year he achieved a 4th place at the Sky Running World Championships.
Ski mountaineering is one of the most beautiful sports for him. The beauty of winter nature, the freedom of being in the mountains and in the most beautiful places in Europe. That is why he is all in to ski mountaineering by now.
