"The two skis I ride the most are the BMX105, and the TX98. The BMX105 because I ride my best on that ski, in bounds, backcountry no matter. For big human powered days in technical terrain, especially when it is firm, the TX98 is a super reliable ski. it is the best combination of super stable plus super light that I have skied on."
Raised in Switzerland, now residing in Jackson WY, Zahan is a passionate big mountain skier, climber and mountain guide. For Zahan, skiing is about exploration and travel in wild and beautiful places. He is drawn to adventure skiing in his home range of the Tetons, where he has worked as a guide and team member with Teton Gravity Research documenting some of the most iconic ski descents in the United States.
His quest for human powered mountain travel is fueled equally by the challenges of the climb as it is by the feeling of making turns in improbable places. Zahan guides and teaches year-round from Exum Mountain Guides in the Tetons, as well as around the world for his own company Samsara Mountain Experience. .
