“I'VE BEEN SKIING FOR AS LONG AS I CAN REMEMBER. RACING IS SO VERSATILE AND GIVES ME A FEELING OF FREEDOM. IN THIS SPORT YOU PUSH YOUR PHYSICAL LIMITS. KÄSTLE DOES EXACTLY THE SAME IN TERMS OF MATERIAL. NO MATTER WHAT THE CONDITIONS, KÄSTLE ALWAYS HAS THE RIGHT SETUP.”

BIO

Mathias has been skiing since the age of two. No wonder that the sport is as important to him as the air he breathes. For the young man from Dornbirn, only ski racing has ever come into play, where he has ultimately specialised in the disciplines of slalom and giant slalom.

There he currently belongs to the B squad of the Austrian Skiing Association (ÖSV), with which he can already point to two podium places in the European Cup and an 18th place in the World Cup Slalom of Kitzbühel 2019. Away from the slopes, Mathias can be found biking, playing soccer, riding his motocross or practicing martial arts. He also studies training and sports management on the side.
