Avital Carroll

BIO

Avital Carroll is a professional Mogul Skier. As of 2022 she switched nations from the US to Austria. She began skiing for Austria because of The Nationality Act. This law grants direct descendants of everyone who was forced to flee during the Halocaust citizenship. Avital’s grandma (Oma) was born in Vienna and fortunately escaped with her entire immediate family and was able to make it safely to the United States. Oma, being born in Vienna, loved skiing. She introduced Avital’s entire family to this incredible sport, and now Avital is able to embrace her heritage and promote unity for all on the world stage. She lives by the words Love-Dream-Unite. This journey has been so incredibly meaningful for her and her family.
In the 2022/2023 season Avital had her best results to date. She achieved 2x Bronze Medals at World Championships in Bakuriani, Georgia, and finished the World Cup Tour ranked 8th in the world.
