BIO

Sabrina was born on the 13th of April 1998 in Kilifi, Kenya. When she was three years old, she emigrated from Kenya to Austria with her mother. As a little girl, she was mesmerized by the sparkling snow and fascinated by the sense of freedom when skiing down the slopes with her stepfather. This is when her passion for skiing was born, and to this day continues to be her motivating force.
In the winter of 2012, she achieved her first big success by becoming a triple Styrian Champion. It was her stepfather who always said to never lose the passion and the joy of competing.
Sabrina has been skiing in the World Cup since 2015 and represents as the Kenya National Ski Team the only African Skier competing professionally in alpine skiing.
In 2018 she participated in the Winter Olympics in Korea for the first time. Aside from giving her best on the slopes, she has won the Sport African Women in Europe Award in 2017, the Sports Black Austrian Award in 2018, and was part of Forbes Africa Sport 30 und 30 list in 2019.
With Kästle as a partner from the 23/24 season Sabrina will conquer the slopes, shatter stereotypes, and embrace diversity in the skiing world.
