BIO

Considered a promise of Italian alpine skiing but forced to leave competitions due to a serious accident at the age of 17, Hervé then became an alpinist, ski mountaineering athlete and director of mountain films. His name is linked to important ascents made all over the world. On his home mountain, the Matterhorn, among new, first winter and first solo routes, he is the mountaineer who has made the most exploits.

In May 2017 he climbed the south face of Shishapangma (8027m) in just 13 hours. La montagna dentro, his first literary effort, has been translated into German, French and Spanish.
